I build all kinds of stuff-- from houses to boats-- but I can't get enough and so I build models as well. This photo shows a recent build of mine-- a 1/10 scale electric RC truggy. I built this truck from two different Traxxas (junked ) kits-- ( Rustler VXL/ Jato ) and then found a Desert Rat body that seemed to work well and custom painted it in Studio 530 colours. I have not yet done the numbers and sponsor graphics--perhaps I'll shoot some pics when it's complete.

This little truck does 80 mph with the potential to do more. It'll take out a full grown adult if one is unlucky enough to be in the way!

My RC racing number is 13... thus the Lucky 13 in the title ( I am pretty lucky! )

LOL Just a big kid! The model look very cool. You know, I like to build models as well, just so hard to find the old school plastic models, all the shops seem to be turning to RC stuff only.

A big kid indeed! Thanks for the comment! I build all kinds of stuff Ray-- from scale plastic models to full scale boats and cars... sometimes even houses! I can't get enough!

But... no excuses Ray-- there are tons of great plastic model kits out there-- I get a lot of mine on eBay and at flea markets-- but you might also check out Wal Mart and other similar stores. Revell has re-issued a lot of the classics from back when we were kids--they are way cool! I just found some 1/12 scale plastic models that I bought in hopes of building this winter-- a 57 Chevy and a 67 427 Vette-- should be cool. I also have three NASCAR models to build this winter-- Jimmie, Jeff, and Dale.

I'm building an RC heli right now... and another RC truck. Gotta plane on order too....

Yup, I'm just a big kid with a toy problem.... :)

LOL No excuses it seems that most of the models I see out there are cars. I'm not into cars. Like the older planes, ships and sci-fi stuff. I'm going to check a shop here just because of this thread! LOL Let you know how it goes.

Yes, let me know. I found some of the old monster models a few weeks ago-- wolfman and creature of the black lagoon-- remember those kits? If you can't find what you want-- you let me know and maybe I can find it for you. Of course if you build something I'll want to see it-- okay?
